particles fill fills a solid with particles, lines its walls with layers of them, or puts them on its surface, for SPH and other particle methods, written for LS-DYNA, Abaqus, ParaView and as plain text. particles clump approximates a solid by overlapping spheres, with mass and inertia, for DEM codes such as LAMMPS, LIGGGHTS, Yade, Chrono DEM-Engine, EDEM and Rocky. particles spheres fills a container with spheres of given sizes, touching neither each other nor the walls, as a packed bed to start a DEM run from.
