Flags
| Flag | Takes | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| -adaptive | switch | off | smaller triangles where the surface curves |
| -angle | number | 30 | how far normals may turn, in degrees |
| -deviation | length or number | a tenth of -size | how far the surface may move |
| -feature | number | 30 | edges sharper than this many degrees are kept (0: none) |
| -iters | integer | 5 | rounds of remeshing |
| -quad-dominant | switch | off | with -quads: triangles where quads would need irregular vertices, so quads keep near-right angles |
| -quad-method | text | field-aligned | with -quads: field-aligned, or pairing of triangles |
| -quads | switch | off | make quads (write OBJ, OFF or PLY to keep them) |
| -size | length or number | the mean edge length | target edge length, such as 2 or 1% |
Output flags
| Flag | Takes | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| -json | switch | off | print the result as JSON |
| -q | switch | off | print nothing but errors |
| -v | switch | off | also show the stages of each step, and their times |
